What is MiraDry?

MiraDry is a non-invasive treatment that uses controlled thermal energy to permanently reduce underarm sweat glands, odor glands, and hair follicles. The treatment includes a built-in cooling system that protects the surface of the skin, keeping patients comfortable while delivering energy to the layer where the glands are located. Most patients experience little to no pain during treatment with local anesthesia.

What should I expect after treatment?

After MiraDry, it is common to experience temporary swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, numbness, sensitivity, or tingling in the treated area. These effects typically improve as the area heals. Most clients can return to normal daily activities relatively quickly, but strenuous exercise and other activities may need to be limited temporarily. Your provider will give you specific post-treatment instructions to support healing and help you achieve the best possible results.  

How many treatments do I need?

MiraDry typically requires a series of 2 treatments for optimal results. Your provider will assess your individual needs, goals, and response to the first treatment to determine the appropriate treatment plan for you.
